Chief for a Day - Brooke Kitson
Chief for a Day Participant - Brooke Kitson - June 8, 2006

Brooke Kitson is a grade 6 student in Mr. Lesser and Madam Graham's class at St. John Bosco School. Brooke is the daughter of Julie Swerdfeger and Scott Kitson.

Brooke's day began by being sworn in as "Chief for a Day" for the Brockville Police Service by Helen Edgley, Secretary to the Deputy Chief.

Brooke proved that she was very adept at taking notes and demonstrated a great interest in our CSI Unit (Crime Scene Investigation). She intends on working hard at school particularly in science subjects and is interest in photography all of which are pre-requisites to a future career in forensic CSI. Brooke enjoyed the beat patrol with Sgt. Locke downtown and then a marine patrol across the City waterfront. She was very impressed with the 911 communication centre and the technology that is used to register calls and dispatch police vehicles.
