Nigel Shearman will be starting grade 4 at Merrickville Public School this upcoming September.

	Nigel's day began by being sworn in as "Chief for a Day" for the Brockville Police Service.
Nigel toured police headquarters with Inspector Adrian Geraghty and spoke with several officers about their jobs with the police service. Nigel also toured the cell area, where he had a turn in one of the cells.

Nigel inspected the K9 demonstration by K9 Trax and Cst. Borgford at Westminster Public School. He then went for boat ride in the police boat with Sgt. Locke. Nigel enjoyed being at police headquarters, instead of going out for lunch like most Chief for a Day participants, Nigel ordered pizza in and ate in the kitchen with police officers and Chief King.
