2007 saw the Brockville Police Service celebrate its 175th Anniversary. A highlight of this celebration was the unveiling of a statute at our front entrance which was designed by Thousand Islands Secondary School, student Jim Stinson.

Overall, the total number of crimes continues to decrease in Brockville and our crime clearance rate remains above the provincial and national averages.  This is due in part to the many innovative programs we provide with the support of our various community partners.

As Chief of Police, I am truly proud of the men and women of the Brockville Police Service, who exemplify, on a daily basis, the professionalism needed to provide effective policing as they face ever increasing demands of our community and the various levels of government.  Our strength is in our people as we move forward together ensuring that Brockville remains a safe and healthy community.
